Addo Safaris - Half Day (4 hours)

Addo Elephant National Park

Activity Description

Enjoy a half- or full-day safari tour in the world-renowned Addo Elephant National Park. Addo is the only park in the world that is home to Africa ‘Big 7’ animals (elephant, rhinoceros, lion, buffalo, leopard, southern right whale and great white shark) in their natural habitat and is a must-see destination in the Eastern Cape.

Join our qualified guides on a day safari and learn about the large variety of animals and the surrounding areas. Each drive is unique and unpredictable as the animals are constantly on the move. Our guides will, however, do their best to provide the best sightings possible.

Tours take place in one of our closed vehicles and light snacks and drinks are provided on every tour.

Customer Reviews

The safari was very nice! Our guide, Marilyn, was kind, had a lot of interesting information to share, and answered all our questions. We felt safe in the care even close to elephants and lions. - Maaike

Our driver has been very polite and welcoming, very good game drive - Rossana

Had a great afternoon half day safari in Addo National Park. Our guide was very knowledgeable and could tell us a lot about the history, animals and plants that we came across. We enjoyed seeing the zebras and the elephants up close - a very special day! Thanks! The braai dinner afterwards at the restaurant was a nice way to finish off the day. - Stephanie

I was taking tours all day on Jan. 25th with Sundays River Adventures...and each one was amazing in its own way! I started out at Addo Elephant Park. Norman was a great guide. We saw many animals big and small...never count out the little five as I say. From beetles to birds to wort hogs to elephants - a beautiful herd of mostly females to hartabeest to the mighty male lion! After Addo, Adam took me sand boarding ... a new adventure for me and I had a blast. Then on a boat cruise to finish with a lovely sunset! Thank you all for a spectacular day. - Paula

Fantastic experience. Our guide was really professional and kind. He told us a lot of things about animals that we didn't know. I would recommend it to other people. - Salvatore
