Enjoy a safari tour in Schotia Private Game Reserve, bordering the eastern side of Addo Elephant National Park. Schotia offers the possibility of viewing Africa’s ‘Big 5’ animals (elephant, rhinoceros, lion, buffalo, and leopard) in their natural habitat, as well as giraffes, hippos and crocodiles. Schotia is a must-see destination in the Eastern Cape.
Join our qualified guides on a day safari and learn about the large variety of animals and the surrounding areas. Each drive is unique and unpredictable as the animals are constantly on the move. Our guides will, however, do their best to provide the best sightings possible.
Tours take place in one of our open safari vehicles and snacks and drinks are provided on every tour.

Scotia game reserve was amazing - due to the experience of our guide we managed to see 4 of the big 5 at this park - we had lunch provided with some drinks. The journey to and back from the park was not excessive like some parks can be. - Justin
Our ship had a late arrival and therefore the beginning of our trip in Port Elisabeth was a bit chaotic. The transfer bus (and his driver: he did not talk) could be better. But the game drive was perfect. The guide tried to show us different animals as much as possible. He didnt give up (I guess his name is Robert and his colleague, Merylyn). Robert took great effort to make our trip as exciting as possible even to the the extent of almost going over the sheduled time of our excursion. What a great time to spend together!!!
