Our River Cruise is a unique way to discover why they call the Sundays River “Africa’s Best Kept Secret”. Our boats are situated at 1 Jetty Street in Colchester, less than 30 minutes drive Port Elizabeth, just below the Southern entrance gate of Addo National Elephant Park. The usage of either of our boats will be dependent on the amount of people attending the cruise.
Our Cruises cater for 1 – 42 people and is perfect for bird lovers, a work function, birthday party or bachelor/bachelorette party, or just a great time with family and friends. Try something different and join us for a great experience. We are able to arrange return transport or overnight accommodation to suit your budget if required. We also offer delicious food at A Taste of Africa Restaurant & Coffee Bar close by.
We require a minimum of 2 people to join this activity in order for the tour to go ahead. If there are less than 2 people then the 1 guests will be charged an extra R200 for the tour to continue. Please contact us on the day of the tour to confirm if there are more than 2 people for the tour to continue.

Het contact was zeer goed, de mensen zeer aardig, maar heel eerlijk... de cruise zelf was niet bijzonder. Zeer langzame boot en geen bijzonderheden te zien eigenlijk. Op de zandduinen na, waar we gelukkig wel stopte en waar de helft van de groep nog is afgegleden. Dat was wel erg leuk. Misschien waren de verwachtingen iets te hoog bij onze groep... - Margreet
Trip was explained to us and then booked at office and signed all necessary papers. Met at river at 13:00 and boarded. Weather was perfect and enjoyed the trip with informative person driving the boat. Stopped to climb dune and then onto river mouth. Was pleased to be able to see river mouth where we got off boat. Sorry we did not go up the river to see more but as we went to river mouth this was not possible. Hopefully there will be another time to explore the up river section.
